SC Gives Back
Our vision at SiteCrafting is to have thriving employees, organizations and communities. One way that we’ve been able to connect all three is through our SC Gives Back initiative. What started as an idea is now a quarterly program that gives our team the power to bring positive, measurable change to both our community and to our business culture.
As our company builds partnerships and working relationships with local community nonprofits and service-based organizations, neighborhoods and our team are strengthened. With 2023 around the corner, we’re taking a look back at just a few of the charitable foundations that we’ve been able to work with.
Emergency Food Network
Emergency Food Network has provided our community with a consistent, diverse and nutritious food supply. For the past few years, our team has volunteered their time at Mother Earth Farm and the Repack Project. This season we’re holding a virtual food drive, collecting food donations at our office and will volunteer to repack food so that we can help our neighbors in need.

HopeSparks
HopeSparks inspires and empowers families by providing behavioral health, family services, and basic needs in Pierce County. Our team recently visited their facility when we brought in our collected donations for HopesCloset. We toured the space and were in awe of all the powerful work that they do with programs that help strengthen families in our communities.

Humane Society
The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County has promoted positive relationships between people and pets for more than 100 years. Our team has worked with the organization and hosted a Kitten Shower for their feline friends in need. The Humane Society is such a trusted partner that one of us recently adopted through them. (Say hi to our new four-legged employee, Darby!)

YWCA
YWCA Pierce County has been providing safety, healing and empowerment to domestic violence survivors in Tacoma since 1906. They’ve transformed lives with their shelter, programs, legal services and support groups. SiteCrafting is a firm believer of their mission — “Eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.” Our efforts to inspire change have included a donation drive for essential hygiene items and volunteering to help set up their extravagant holiday gift center.
Spread the holiday cheer by gifting to survivors.
Tacoma Rescue Mission
Tacoma Rescue Mission brings hope to a community in crisis by offering care through services, shelter, and food. Our company has supported The Mission and the houseless over the years by hosting a warm clothing drive, holding a sock drive at the office and volunteering to prepare meals.

Bring families experiencing hardships the spirit of the season with gift donations.
Wishing everyone a safe, healthy, and abundant new year ✨
We are ending the year full of appreciation for these partnerships that have brought our team and community together. We’re very much looking forward to continuing this program for the sixth year and creating more opportunities for SiteCrafting to give back to Tacoma.
